Installation is easy, only requiring a 120V household outlet, and in no time you will be enjoying a warm, ambient fire in your home. Place your flat screen TV (up to 60-inches) on this Portobello electric fireplace media console in an elegant walnut finish. It features a 25-inch firebox, fluted pilasters and serpentine moldings, wire passageways for connecting components and ample storage. The patented 3D realistic fire effect gives the fire depth and dancing flames, and pulsating embers with the hand-finished logs, which are molded from real wood logs, also add to the realism of the fire. The flames can be used with or without heat, so the look of a wood fire can be enjoyed year-round for just pennies a day. When the thermostat controlled, fan-forced 880 watt/3000 BTU heater is used, the unit can heat a room up to 400 square feet. Once the temperature is set, the thermostat maintains the heat in the room. Electric fireplaces are the safe choice for your home with 90 percent less carbon dioxide emissions than the average direct vent gas fireplace and do not produce harmful particles.
